The sun is shining and Paradise Lodge is the place to be this week at Red Mountain! It’s been great to ski with one less layer now that temperatures are starting to rise, and having lunch on the deck (and getting a tan) is just the right prescription for anyone needing a pick me up. I have friends visiting from Maryland and they are already looking into what it takes to move to Rossland. Their 3 year old has been enrolled in the Snowsports School and is having the time of her life on the magic carpet and soon she’ll go for her first run up the Silverload Chair. But it’s not all about the skiing anymore, just yesterday I spotted some mountain bikers heading for the trails already…it won’t be long before the bears are back!
